CPC of Lincolnton is a ministry where hurting mothers and families can find help. They also offer a program called "Purpose Place" to help teens learn healthy habits and life skills. They use every opportunity to share the love of Jesus.

SBC

Annie Armstrong was a dedicated missionary advocate and leader who played a significant role in the development of Southern Baptist missions in North America. She served as the first corresponding secretary for the Woman's Missionary Union, which later became the North American Mission Board.

The North American Mission Board (NAMB) is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention focused on planting churches, mobilizing volunteers, and providing strategic vision and resources for missions in North America. NAMB works to support and empower church planting efforts, evangelism, disaster relief, and more throughout the United States and Canada.

The International Mission Board (IMB) is another entity of the Southern Baptist Convention that focuses on sending and supporting missionaries around the world. The IMB partners with churches to send missionaries to unreached people groups, provide humanitarian aid, and share the message of the Gospel in countries around the globe.

Lottie Moon was a Southern Baptist missionary who served in China in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She was a pioneer in missions and is best known for her tireless efforts to evangelize and minister to the people of China, as well as for advocating for the support of missionaries around the world. The annual "Lottie Moon Christmas Offering" is collected by Southern Baptist churches to support international missions through the work of the IMB.

Our History
Founded in 1897, our church originated from a powerful revival meeting that took place on October 12 of that year. As a result of this meeting, thirty individuals professed their faith in God and twenty were baptized, committing themselves to a life of Christian discipleship. With an initial group of 21 charter members, our church was officially established and began to grow in both numbers and spiritual depth.

As our congregation continued to thrive, we eventually found a permanent home at our current site in the early 1960's. This marked a significant milestone in our history, as we were able to establish a physical presence that provided a place for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth for our members and the surrounding community. Since then, our church has continued to be a beacon of light and hope, faithfully serving God and spreading His love to all who enter our doors.
Our Vision
River View Baptist Church is a church that desires to last. Jesus has given us the mandate to "bear fruit and our fruit should remain". River View will accomplish this task by Loving the lost, Affirming one another, Serving the Savior, and Teaching the believer. Our desire is to grow together as we glorify God by evangelizing, edifying, exalting, and educating.
Our Mission
RVBC is a body of believers that desire to grow together and glorify God by evangelizing the lost, edifying the church, exalting the Savior, and educating the believer.
