Additionally, NC Baptist offers a variety of resources and programs to help support ministers and their families as they serve their congregations and communities.
CPC of Lincolnton is a ministry where hurting mothers and families can find help. They also offer a program called "Purpose Place" to help teens learn healthy habits and life skills. They use every opportunity to share the love of Jesus.
Annie Armstrong was a dedicated missionary advocate and leader who played a significant role in the development of Southern Baptist missions in North America. She served as the first corresponding secretary for the Woman's Missionary Union, which later became the North American Mission Board.
The North American Mission Board (NAMB) is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention focused on planting churches, mobilizing volunteers, and providing strategic vision and resources for missions in North America. NAMB works to support and empower church planting efforts, evangelism, disaster relief, and more throughout the United States and Canada.
The International Mission Board (IMB) is another entity of the Southern Baptist Convention that focuses on sending and supporting missionaries around the world. The IMB partners with churches to send missionaries to unreached people groups, provide humanitarian aid, and share the message of the Gospel in countries around the globe.
Lottie Moon was a Southern Baptist missionary who served in China in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She was a pioneer in missions and is best known for her tireless efforts to evangelize and minister to the people of China, as well as for advocating for the support of missionaries around the world. The annual "Lottie Moon Christmas Offering" is collected by Southern Baptist churches to support international missions through the work of the IMB.

Pastor Barry graduated from Alexander Central High School in 1997. He felt called to preach in April 2011 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Divinity Degree from the West Lenoir School of Ministry in February 2014. Barry began his first pastoral role in March 2016 and was ordained in April of the same year by Rock Face Baptist Church. In March 2022, he accepted the position of pastor at RVBC, where he serves today. He is also currently pursuing an associate degree in Religion/Christian Ministries from Fruitland Baptist Bible College, which he is set to complete in March 2025, with graduation scheduled for September. Barry married his beloved wife, Jodi, in 2005, and together they are the proud parents of two sons: Jeremiah, born in August 2006, and Bryson, born in January 2009.
